Tips for Attending

Bring your fiancé, parents, friends, and/or wedding party. Besides getting to spend the day together, you can make it a fun-filled afternoon of shopping, planning, and making memories, while getting their input too!  

Be prepared.  Bring a list of the wedding pros you are still looking for and have questions ready to ask them.

Ask Questions. The exhibitors at the expo are experts in their field and have years of experience.  They are ready to help you plan your big day, so don't hesitate to tap into their knowledge and ask all the questions you can think of.

Create a temporary wedding email.  This will ensure that all of your wedding planning emails are in one place.  The amount of offers you receive at first may seem overwhelming, but take the time to read them or you may miss out on some very good deals.

Bring a sheet of pre-printed labels.  You will have many opportunities to win prizes.  Having labels with your name, address, phone number and wedding date already printed out will save you from filling out all of those forms.

Bring your calendar, checkbook, and/or Credit/ATM card.  Many of the exhibitors will be offering "show specials" which may require a deposit if you book with them at the show, so bring your checkbook or credit card to take advantage of the great deals that are available.  You may also want to schedule a consultation with one or more vendors following the show so you want to be sure that you have your calendar available to book those meetings.

Pick up your "I'm Engaged" sticker at registration.  These stickers will help exhibitors to identify you as the person getting married.

Be sure to check the show schedule.  The fashion shows and seminars (when offered) generally last between 15 - 30 minutes, so schedule your visit accordingly.  Seating is limited and is on a first come, first served basis so arrive early.

Plan to stay for the duration of the show.  Know what time the door and grand prizes are given away.  You must be present at the time we call your ticket number, otherwise, we will continue to draw other ticket numbers until all the prizes are awarded.
